FAQ — About My Work, My Life, and Everything In Between
So… what do you actually do??
WHERE IS THE STUDIO BASED?
I turn emotions into objects.
Sometimes that’s a car, sometimes a rug, sometimes a drawing I never meant to show anyone.
Call it design, call it therapy — I just call it Tuesday.
Are you an artist or a designer?
Depends who’s asking and who’s paying.
I live somewhere between the two — where beauty meets existential confusion.
Why patterns?
Because repetition is how I cope.
And also how I build universes.
What’s your work about?
Obsession, control, healing, and glitter.
Usually in that order.
Is everything you make autobiographical?
Yes. Even the wallpaper. Especially the wallpaper.
What’s your process?
I draw what I feel, then I make it pretty enough to survive in the world.
It’s called emotional alchemy. Works 60% of the time.
What’s the Backup Your Brain planner?
A daily planner for people who overthink beautifully.
It’s part calendar, part therapy session, part self-rescue manual.
WhY JOURNALING?
Because I once wrote too many emails to the wrong person and turned them into art. Now I teach other people to do that - minus the heartbreak..
WHO BUYS YOUR WORK?
People with taste, money, and unresolved emotions. Collectors, architects, dreamers and anyone who wants to live inside a story.
How do your define success?
When your work starts to heal the part of you that made it necessary.
And when someone else wants to pay for that healing, too.
WHat inspires you?
Heartbreak, Pilates, architecture, and good lighting.
Not necessarily in that order..
Do you believe in balance?
No. I believe in rhythm.
Balance is for scales, rhythm is for life.
Is this art or therapy?
Both. And occasionally content.
